In line with patterns associated with ad in the general adult population (Crutcher et al. 2009; Zola et al. 2013), shorter total fixation duration during the habituation phase and lower preference for the novel image based on fixation number and duration were associated with poorer memory (mCRT), more informant‐reported dementia symptoms (DLD‐SOS) and higher PET tau. This evidence concerns the gene MAPT and dementia.
