IL6 and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease: Previous studies have demonstrated that polysaccharides derived from tartary buckwheat roots can improve NAFLD through the IL6/SOCS3/SREBP1c pathway.[25] The ADIPOQ receptor family member, PAQR9, can influence fasting-induced hepatic ketogenesis and fatty acid oxidation by regulating PPARα.[26] Additionally, IL8 shows a significant correlation with transaminase levels and histological severity of NALFD,[27] with liver IL6 expression levels being higher in NAFLD patients than in patients with simple hepatic steatosis.[28]
