Given that TFAM expression is associated with lymph node metastasis, we used the GEPIA2 database to search for associations between the expression level of TFAM and the expression levels of the lymphatic endothelial cell markers LYVE1, PDPN, and PROX1 [26,27] in ovarian cancer tissue, and the results showed that the mRNA expression level of TFAM was positively associated with that of LYVE1, PDPN, and PROX1 (Figure 5h–j). This evidence concerns the gene PDPN and ovarian carcinoma.
