The results of this study showed that the colonic tissues of group M mice showed a significant increase in the expression of Claudin-2 and a decrease in the expression of Claudin-3, whereas the intervention of V9 improved the expression of Claudin-2 and Claudin-3 in mice with colitis (Figures 5, 6), leading to a more hermetic sealing of the inter-cells and a reduction in the intercellular pore space, which played a protective role against the disruption of the intestinal barrier.
