Nevertheless, myocarditis cases following SARS-CoV-2 mRNA vaccination in young people are rare, mild, and often occur after the second vaccination injection.31 Another study also reported high cTnI (22 ng/mL) in a 30-year-old healthy man after two doses of the mRNA COVID-19 vaccine.32 In the same context, a study by Acharya et al. revealed one of the rare cases of elevated cTnI levels as a result of immune or inflammatory responses to the Pfizer–BNT162b2 COVID-19 vaccine that led to myocarditis.33 This evidence concerns the gene TNNI3 and COVID-19.
