We further focused on 2793 significant association pairs (P < .05 and r > 0.5, Table S3) and found that the top five association pairs were present in esophageal cancer (g__Rhodopseudomonas- COL3A1/POSTN/COL1A2/CDH11/COL1A1), while Rhodopseudomonas-COL1A1 was also a significant association pair in colorectal cancer. This evidence concerns the gene POSTN and esophageal cancer.
