The results of the present study demonstrated that S. Infantis infection caused oxidative damage and activation of the NF-κB signalling pathway, which was reversed by WB600/ZD pretreatment, suggesting that WB600/ZD may inhibit the NF-κB pathway through activation of Nrf2/HO-1, which alleviates enteritis. The gene discussed is NFKB1; the disease is enteritis.
