In this prospective, multicenter cohort study of patients with AF who were receiving factor Xa inhibitor anticoagulation treatment and undergoing procedures with minimal to low bleeding risk, the PERIXa protocol for factor Xa inhibitor interruption and resumption was associated with a low 30-day major bleeding event rate (0.1%) and no thromboembolic events (eFigure 3 in Supplement 2). Here, F10 is linked to atrial fibrillation.
