Small solid silica nanoparticles (SiNPs) have been usedfor multivalentcarbohydrate presentation in DC-/L-SIGN-mediated viral infection models.Glycosylated SiNPs (glycoSiNPs) were fully characterized by differentexperimental techniques, including NMR, DLS, TGA, FTIR, and XPS, whichconfirmed their chemical structures. This evidence concerns the gene CLEC4M and viral infectious disease.
