Notably, certain phenotypes, such as the percentage of CD4+ CD8dim leukocytes (OR = 0.852, 0.729–0.995, p = 0.0430) and HLA DR+ CD4+ activated T cells (OR = 0.933, 0.883–0.986) within TBNK cells (T cells, B cells, and natural killer cells), demonstrated an inverse relationship with pancreatic cancer risk. This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and familial pancreatic carcinoma.
