In the multivariate Cox regression analysis model, after adjustment of confounding factors, three factors emerged as independent predictors of stroke incidence, including plasma Gal‐3 concentration (HR = 1.15, 95% CI: 1.07–1.25, p < 0.001), age (HR = 1.08, 95% CI 1.00–1.15, p = 0.041), and cerebral infarction history (HR = 5.54, 95% CI 1.25–24.53, p = 0.024), underscoring their pivotal roles in stroke risk assessment.
