MTOR and nonpapillary renal cell carcinoma: Additionally, FOXM1 was found to be upregulated in ccRCC, correlating with clinical pathological features and positively regulating PYCR1, thereby activating the PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway and promoting VM formation.
Conclusion
This study constructed a VM-related signature and revealed that FOXM1 promotes VM formation in renal cell carcinoma through the PYCR1-PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling axis, serving as a prognostic indicator and potential therapeutic target.
