The results suggested that the intensity of the PD-L1 signal (Fig. 9A, left IHC panel) and percentage of PD-L1+ cells (Fig. 9A, right bar graph panel) apparently increased in melanoma tissue compared to adjacent normal tissue and tumor from immunotherapy non-responding patients exhibited higher expression of PD-L1 than the tumor tissue from responding patients.
