Unexpectedly, a longer total breast-feeding duration was associated with a higher risk of being in the “inflammation” (1.04 [1.01;1.07]), “dyslipidemia/high leptin” (1.07 [1.03;1.11]) as well as “low leptin/IGF-1/HbA1c” status (1.06 [1.02;1.11]) as compared to the “normal” status. Here, LEP is linked to metabolic syndrome.
