We analyzed a chondrosarcoma dataset, GSE30835, from the GEO database to evaluate the expression of nine cathepsins (cathepsin A, B, C, D, E, L, S, V, and Z) and found that three cathepsins, A, L, and V, showed notably higher expression in chondrosarcoma tissues than in normal cartilage (Fig. 2A). This evidence concerns the gene CTSS and chondrosarcoma.
