In the unpaired sample analysis shown in Figure 2D, a total of 11,123 samples were analyzed, revealing significantly lower KANK2 mRNA expression in bladder cancer (BLCA), breast cancer (BRCA), colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), kidney chromophobe (KICH), kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), and uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC) (p < 0.001), as well as in cervical squamous cell carcinoma (CESC) (p < 0.01). The gene discussed is KANK2; the disease is cervical squamous cell carcinoma.
