In our cohort, the levels of antibodies against PfCSP c-term, indicative of exposure to malaria sporozoite, showed a positive association with CD16 expression on Vδ1+ T cells, suggesting that malaria exposure might contribute to the phenotype of γδ T cells associated with the development of neutralization breadth, but other unidentified factors might also be important. Here, FCGR3A is linked to malaria.
