For example, higher levels of proteins such as granulocyte–macrophage colony stimulating factor (CSF2, OR 0.53, 95% CI 0.37–0.78), R-spondin-3 (RSPO3, OR 0.41, 95% CI 0.24–0.70) and tumour necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 10 (TNFSF10, OR 0.56, 95% CI 0.39–0.81) decreased MM risk and higher levels of dermatopontin (DPT) increased MM risk (OR 1.47, 95% CI 1.14–1.90). Here, TNFSF10 is linked to Miyoshi myopathy.
