Lastly, an in vivo screen aimed at uncovering suppressors of MYC-driven lymphomagenesis uncovered genes with established links to cancer formation (e.g. Trp53, Cdkn2a, Irf4), as well as newer targets, like Tfap4, which we recently identified in a similar context through Cas9-based screening20. This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and cancer.
