In addition, we also observed that in both OPCs and neurons of mutant mice, the genes involved in neurodegeneration and senescence were upregulated, particularly those involved in Alzheimer’s disease (AD), eg. Apoc1, Pla2g4a, and Cd74 (Fig. 3C–E, Supplementary Figs. 9, 10). The gene discussed is PLA2G4A; the disease is early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
