When participants were categorized into two groups—those with ANA positivity at a titer of 1/160 or higher and aged younger than 7, versus others—it was evident that the risk of new onset uveitis and the requirement of bDMARDs were higher in the ANA-positive group (with respective OR [95% CI] of 7.95 [2.37–26.66] and 3.60 [1.42–9.09]). This evidence concerns the gene BTG3 and uveitis.
