Analysis of the cells recently recruited into the tumor (KG+) versus those retained within the tumor (KR+) revealed a significant increase in the proportion of Ki67+ CD8+ T cells in both subsets (KG+: 36.7% ± 6% vs. 11.6% ± 1%; P = 0.01; KR+: 41.7% ± 5.4% vs. 8.7% ± 0.8%; P = 0.001; Fig. 3A and B). The gene discussed is CD8A; the disease is neoplasm.
