Using RT-qPCR, flow cytometry, and ELISA, we found that the mRNA and protein levels of CXCR2, PSGL-1, and MPO in the neutrophils of the MRSA + Lanata group increased significantly at 6 h post-infection and were lower than those in the MRSA group after 12 h. The gene discussed is CXCR2; the disease is infection.
