IL7 and neoplasm: Pathway analysis with the differentially expressed genes revealed that immune signaling pathways (such as NK cell mediated cytotoxicity, antigen processing and presentation, IL-7 interactions in immune responses, Type II interferon signaling, and chemokine mediated signaling pathways) were mostly associated with the high NK infiltration group in contrast to the low NK infiltration group, which had upregulated expression of pro-tumour pathways such as fibroblast-associated pathways (e.g., collagen production), and ECM remodelling pathways (Figure 4D).
