Furthermore, through integration with human genome-wide association study data, we further identified a subset of risk genes during disease development that were induced by estrogen, such as AKT1 (related to endometrial cancer), CCND1 (related to breast cancer), HSPH1 (related to colorectal cancer), and COVID-19 and asthma-related risk genes. This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and breast carcinoma.
