The results showed that Zak deficiency could reverse the SLE phenotype induced by immunizing with Trex1-/- CD4+ T cells, as displayed by decreased percentages of Tfh, GC B, and plasma cells in the spleen (Fig. S2A and S2B), the reduced production of anti-dsDNA/ssDNA/histone IgG and IgM in the serum (Fig. 5K), the less IgG deposition in the kidney, and the lower levels of ANA in the serum (Fig. 5L). This evidence concerns the gene MAP3K20 and systemic lupus erythematosus.
