The diagnostic utility of serum SDF-1α was further substantiated through ROC curve analysis, which yielded an AUC of 0.76, with an optimal cut-off value at 161 ng/mL, sensitivity of 65.24%, and specificity of 80.83% (Figure 1B), suggesting that SDF-1α could be a valuable biomarker for distinguishing AML in the elderly population. Here, CXCL12 is linked to acute myeloid leukemia.
