Using western blot and immunofluorescence staining, we observed that FMN treatment reversed the upregulated expression of NLRP3, ASC and caspase-1 induced by DHEA and DHT in rats and cells, indicating that FMN administration could inhibit NLRP3 inflammasome activation in PCOS rat and cell models. The gene discussed is NLRP3; the disease is polycystic ovary syndrome.
