Differential expression analysis upon bulk RNA sequencing revealed that sqt-2, which encodes a collagen trimer protein known to be important for Orsay virus control, is depleted in the context of infection as well as in naïve atg-3 mutants (Fig 7), supporting regulation of collagen organization as a mechanism for ATG-3 limitation of Orsay virus replication. The gene discussed is KCNQ1; the disease is infection.
