These results are consistent with previous studies that found higher levels of TNF-a20, IFN-γ (Maes et al., 1994) IL-6 (Raison et al., 2006; Wiener et al., 2019), IL-10 levels (Wiener et al., 2019) in individuals with depression compared to healthy controls.
