CXCL9 and cutaneous melanoma: Remarkably, we observed a positive correlation between increased expression of ICAM-1 and CXCL9 (r = 0.34, P = 2.52e14) and CXCL10 (r = 0.25, P = 2.84e–8) expressions in the public RNA-sequencing dataset from the patients with melanoma (skin cutaneous melanoma [SKCM]) in The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) as well as with other components of the 12-chemokine melanoma signature (Figure 10c).
