Domínguez C et al. measured levels of leptin, adiponectin, and other inflammatory markers (IL-6, IL-10, TNF alfa, high sensitivity PCR-hsPCR) related to migraine pathophysiology in a group of migraine patients and healthy controls, highlighting that leptin and adiponectin serum levels were increased in migraine patients and were significantly higher in chronic compared to episodic migraine patients (p < 0.001). Here, ADIPOQ is linked to migraine disorder.
