AMH and polycystic ovary syndrome: According to the 2023 International Evidence-based Guideline for the Assessment and Management of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, the diagnostic criteria are the following in adults: the presence of two of (i) clinical/biochemical hyperandrogenism, (ii) ovulatory dysfunction, and (iii) polycystic ovaries on ultrasound or elevated Anti- Müllerian Hormone (AMH) levels, after other causes of these features were excluded [1].
