The chronic systemic inflammatory condition by several cytokines such as tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) [34], interleukin-6 (IL-6) [35], interleukin-1-alpha (IL-1α), and interleukin-1-beta (IL-1β) [36,37] is generally observed in IBD, and this condition can damage the autonomic nervous system [38,39] and alter neurological function, affecting blood pressure regulation and heart rate and leading to dizziness or vertigo symptoms due to OD [40].
