IL6 and hyperparathyroidism: Likewise, hyperparathyroidism (>65 pg/mL) was found to be more prevalent in frail patients than in non-frail individuals (59.3% versus 40.1%; p = 0.017), in the same way as high IL-6 (>6 pg/mL, identifying p66 as upper tertile: 7 pg/mL) (55.6% versus 32.8%, p = 0.004) in frail and non-frail patients, respectively.
