This review concludes that members of the coagulation system such as P-selectin, thrombomodulin, d-dimer, prothrombin, von Willebrand factor, fibrinogen and fibrin, tissue factor, tissue plasminogen activator, plasminogen activator inhibitor-1, soluble urokinase-type plasminogen activator receptor, and antithrombin play significant role in the pathophysiology of HCC as explained in Figure 1, Figure 2, Figure 3 and Figure 4 and Table 1 and Table 2. This evidence concerns the gene F2 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
