We have previously shown that treatment with CUR alone demonstrates an anticancer effect against human ovarian adenocarcinoma SKOV-3/CDDP CDDP-resistant cells by inhibiting the gene expression of the antioxidant enzymes (SOD1, SOD2, GPX1, CAT, and HO1), transcription factor NFE2L2, and signaling pathway (PIK3CA/AKT1/MTOR) [22]. This evidence concerns the gene MTOR and ovarian adenocarcinoma.
