Curcumin prevented the decrease of miR-7-5p expression and the increase of RelA p65 expression caused by cerebral ischemia–reperfusion injury (CIR) in vivo and oxygen-glucose deprivation/reoxygenation (ODG/R) in vitro.MiR-7-5p was found to target RelA p65. MiR-7-5p antagonists reversed curcumin’s impact on RelA p65 expression in ischemic brain tissue and cells. This evidence concerns the gene RELA and Cerebral ischemia.
