Classic AGS manifestation comprises of skin reactions (chives/angioedema) occurring 2–6 h after the ingestion of mammalian meat with the detection of anti-α-Gal IgE (≥0.1 IU/mL or <2% of the total IgE), where clinical improvement is observed after the implementation of a diet without mammalian-origin nutrients [4].
