Since 2016, multiple inhibitors targeting mutant IDH1/2 have been approved as anticancer therapies, including vorasidenib (Voranigo, Servier Pharmaceuticals LLC., Suresnes, France), which received FDA approval on 6 August 2024 for treating grade 2 astrocytoma or oligodendroglioma with susceptible IDH mutations. This evidence concerns the gene IDH1 and oligodendroglioma.
