RUNX1 and acute myeloid leukemia: Interestingly, we found that KMT2A fusions (79/319; 24.8%) were the most common fusions identified in AML, followed by PML::RARA (51/319; 16.0%), CBFB::MYH11 (45/319; 14.1%), RUNX1::RUNX1T1 (32/319; 10.0%), and NUP98::NSD1 (22/319; 6.9%) (Figure 1).
