In our study, the methylation level of cg13674437/ADAM12 (a disintegrin and metalloproteinase) was lower, and cg06758847/PSD3 (Pleckstrin and Sec7 Domain Containing), and cg24595678/PSD3 were higher in cirrhosis patients who subsequently developed HCC than those who remained cancer-free. The gene discussed is CYTH1; the disease is Cirrhosis.
