CYP11A1 and urinary bladder cancer: In our literature search, we found consistent previous reports regarding the genetic or epigenetic dysregulation of 12 genes (86%) in the prognosis of various types of cancer, such as cervical cancer (CASP7) [43], (BRD9) [44], (FGD5) [45], hepatocellular carcinomas (NR2E1) [46], cutaneous melanoma (ARL15) [47], lung cancer (NR2E1) [48], (AGL) [49], (ZNF777) [50], (ZNF429) [51], prostate cancer (CYP11A1) [52], bladder cancer (C18orf18) [53], renal cancer (ZNF433) [54], and leiomyosarcomas (DAXX) [55].
