According to ICC, there is a difference in the white blood cell (WBC) cutoff depending on the colony-stimulating factor 3 receptor (CSF3R) gene mutation status; in the presence of a CSF3R mutation, the WBC cutoff should be ≥13 × 109/L, whereas in the absence of a CSF3R mutation, the WBC cutoff should be ≥25 × 109/L. Here, CSF3R is linked to intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma.
