TRPM8 protein has been identified in the somata of a variety of central nervous system (CNS) structures, including cortical, limbic, basal ganglia, thalamic, and midbrain structures [3] Thus, it is not surprising that TRPM8 is implicated in a range of neurological and behavioral conditions, including migraine, neuropathic pain, Parkinson’s disease, and epilepsy [4,5,6]. This evidence concerns the gene TRPM8 and migraine disorder.
