ANXA5 and coronary artery disorder: In our study, SSL5-AnxA5 allowed apoptosis-targeted aggregation by binding to the phosphatidylserine molecules at the outer surface of apoptotic cell membranes, and we also verified that the ability of the fusion protein to bind apoptotic endothelial cells is superior to that of AnxA5, which represented its outstanding efficiency and promising therapeutic prospects in CHD.
