As can be seen from Figure 2A–C, the activities of ADH and ALDH in the liver of rats in the AD group were significantly decreased, while the activity of CYP2E1 was significantly increased (p < 0.001), but this situation was improved in three BC99 groups, among which the ADH activity and ALDH activity in the AH group were increased by 64.07% and 112.52%, respectively (p < 0.001). Here, CYP2E1 is linked to Alzheimer disease.
