BCL11A and acute lymphoblastic leukemia: BCL11A is highly expressed or mutated in NK-/T-cell lymphoma [52,53], acute myeloid leukemia [54,55], childhood acute leukemia [56], chronic lymphocytic leukemia [57], acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) [58] and aggressive B-cell lymphoma [59] and is associated with poor prognosis; its downregulation may predict complete remission in patients with B-cell ALL [16,23].
