CRP and acute pancreatitis: Univariate analysis revealed that the following parameterswere associatedwith at least a moderate–severe form of acute pancreatitis: fasting blood glucose (mg/dL) (p = 0.0001), modified CTSI score (p < 0.0001), CRP values at 48 h (p = 0.0004), BISAP score at admission (p < 0.0001), CTSI score (p = 0.001), Ranson score (p = 0.002), and duration of hospitalization (days) (p = 0.006).
