Therefore, S100A11, QPCT, and IFITM2, proposed in this study as new biomarkers for sepsis, aim to complement the inadequacy of conventional biomarkers by providing more specific and stable indicators that can reflect the patient’s condition at an earlier stage and more accurately, to optimize the diagnosis and personalized treatment strategies, and to improve the effectiveness of clinical management.
